Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. This page lists every cookie Midlands Accountancy sets, what it does, and how to change your choices. For how personal information is handled more generally, see the privacy policy.
Essential cookies
These keep the site secure and working. They are not used for advertising or to track you across other sites, and because the site cannot work safely without them, they do not require consent.

Analytics
If you choose to allow it in the banner, we use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful. Google Analytics is provided by Google, a third party.
- Nothing is loaded from Google, and nothing is sent to it, until you press Accept. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics runs at all.
- Once you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies named
_gaand_ga_FFYGN4EDM8so it can tell visits apart. They last up to two years. - It receives the pages you view, the buttons you use and technical details such as your browser type and approximate location. We do not send it your name, email address, telephone number or anything you type into a form.
- We do not use it for advertising.
Your choice itself is remembered in your browser’s local storage underma_consent, so we do not ask you again on every page. Declining changes nothing about how the site works.
If you allow analytics, the quote form also remembers the first page you opened during your visit, in your browser’s session storage under ma_landing, and notes the page that linked you here. Both are sent with your quote request so we can see which pages lead to enquiries. If you decline, neither is stored or sent, and the entry is cleared when you close the tab in any case.
The map on the contact page
The contact page includes a Google map that loads only if you choose to load it. Until you click, no request is made to Google. If you do load it, Google may set its own cookies under Google’s cookie policy, which we do not control.
Changing your choices
Use the Cookie settings control in the footer of any page, or the button below, to reopen the consent banner and change your choice at any time. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, though blocking the essential ones may stop the forms working.
Changes to this policy
If the cookies this site sets ever change, this page will be updated at the same time, because it is maintained alongside the code that sets them.
